IMPORTANT INFORMATION CONCERNING THE EXAMINATION FOR PROFESSIONAL PRACTICE IN PSYCHOLOGY (EPPP)

In order to ensure successful completion of the EPPP, Candidates are encouraged to begin studying as soon as possible and to have taken the Exam within the first year of Candidacy. Candidates are required to have successfully completed the EPPP by the second year of Candidacy.

To apply for the EPPP and obtain more information about the Exam, please visit the following link:

www.asppb.net/Student

Once you have completed the application and submitted your application fee, within 48 hours, you should receive an “authorization-to-test” letter by email. The letter will contain the information needed to schedule the examination. You will then be able to go online or call a toll-free number to schedule the examination at the date and location of your choice.

You must sit for the examination within 60 days of the date on the “authorization-to-test” message provided by PES. If you do not sit for the examination within these 60 days, you will be removed from the eligibility list, and will be required to submit a new online application for computerized testing and the process outlined begins again.

When making a decision regarding when to complete the online application process, please note that the 60 day eligibility period begins as soon as the online registration process is complete. Sometimes available examination times at the testing center may be limited. Therefore, the more flexible candidates can be with regard to when they sit for the examination within the eligibility period, the easier it will be to secure an examination date.
