In late November 2015, we were advised that the EPPP Registration system had been temporarily taken offline by Pearson Vue. This is the system that allows candidates to register for the EPPP. The testing vendor of the Association of State and Provincial Psychology Boards, Pearson VUE, had noted they were working to restore service. Information was placed on the home page of the NSBEP website, in the “News/Posts” subsection, the area where important Board updates are provided. A link was also provided where one could obtain more information about this incident. We have been advised that the EPPP Registration system has now been restored.
ASPPB has noted the following:
The Pearson Credential Manager System (PCM) is back to operational status, so candidates can complete their EPPP registration in PCM and schedule their testing appointments through Pearson VUE. Please note however, that Pearson is manually handling some of the procedures, and there may be glitches as the various automated components of the system are turned on. ASPPB staff is working closely with Pearson to make sure each and every candidate’s registration and scheduling process goes as smoothly as possible, but some degree of patience may still be required until everything is fully automated again.
ASPPB has indicated that they will contact any candidates who may have been potentially impacted by this incident. For more information, provided by Pearson, please click here.
