The Board is composed of members who are psychologists and members of the public.

According to the Psychologists Act, the Board shall include members who are registered psychologists, in good standing. Such members are appointed by the Association of Psychologists of Nova Scotia (APNS). Registered members interested in becoming members may contact APNS on their appointment process.

The Act also requires that the Board include public representation. Public members are neither registered psychologists nor candidates, and they are appointed by the Governor in Council. For more information about becoming a public member, please click here.
